Looking for a friend who accepts you? |
Compeer members meet twice a month for free wellness programs, community service, community speakers, cultural and recreational events, picnics, and holiday parties. Compeer friends call to see how you are, or just to talk. Assistance is available for those who cannot afford transportation. |

It’s Easy to apply to become a Compeer member. |
Interested? Contact the Compeer office for a phone interview. We will need the name and contact information of your mental health care professional. We will send them an application to complete with you about your medical history and interests. This information remains confidential. Your mental health care provider must confirm that you are in treatment. |
Once approved, you will receive a welcome letter inviting you to our next event. Each month you will receive a newsletter detailing upcoming events. A volunteer will call you to remind you of the next social and confirm if you wish to attend. |
