Graham Campbell
Graham Campbell serves as Associate Director for Mental Health America of Licking County.
An experience as a teenager, working at a camp for young people with disabilities, shaped Graham's outlook on dealing with people. To this day, he strives always "to see the person, not their barriers." This is a philosophy, which he hopes to apply to his work at Mental Health America of Licking County.
Graham is the former Special Events Coordinator with the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Newark, where he produced a wide range of activities, from concerts at the Courthouse to fishing tournaments, always focusing on under-served families.
Previously, Graham worked at Denison University in their Department of Theatre and Cinema, where he served as Assistant to the Technical Director. He was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to teach and direct plays, and was known for teaching his students how to make an elephant disappear.
His life-long fascination with magic and his extensive experience of working with shoestring budgets, have taught him about leveraging resources in a tightening economy. "If you can't make an elephant disappear, you can make the audience think it disappeared."
Graham's hobbies are magic history, curling, and being trained by his pets.
